Sanja Hulec joined the Home and Community team in August 2017 as an Engineering Associate. She completed her M.Eng. in Geotechnical Engineering at the University of Zagreb, and she is currently pursuing her P.Eng. licence with Professional Engineers Ontario. Her projects include collaborating with the footwear industry to encourage improvement and development of footwear outsole materials that perform better on the ice, evaluating slip resistance in footwear, and investigating the performance of pavement alternatives in winter weather cycles.
