Rowa has been with the Tech Team for two years. Before joining the Tech Team, Rowa worked for a consulting company and has over three years of experience in nuclear and mining projects. Since joining the Tech Team she has assisted with a study that investigates caregivers techniques as they assist clients with bathing and toileting tasks. She has also developed programs for tracking a video-recorded object’s movement and changes, developed an android app that aims at reducing risk of dementia in adults by training and challenging the brain, and worked on a 3D scanner project and a study of the injury risks common to caregivers who assist with bathing and toileting. Rowa is currently finishing her Masters degree and plans to have a career in the biomedical engineering field developing medical devices and systems.
