Philippa joined the Home and Community Team in September 2015. She received her BEng from Memorial University of Newfoundland and is currently pursuing her PhD in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Toronto. Philippa’s research on the effect of handrail shape and size and age on balance recovery reactions aims to reduce falls on stairs by preventing injury.
