Mark joined the Home and Community Team in 2015 as an engineering research intern. His background is in mechanical engineering, with a focus on biomechanics (BSc. Queen’s University). Mark subsequently received his MASc in Biomedical Engineering from the University of British Columbia, where his Master’s thesis was in the field of computer assisted orthopaedic surgery. Mark’s research interests are in human kinematics, injury mechanics, spatial measurement systems, virtual reality, and mechanical design.
