Karen is the Saint Elizabeth Nursing Research Fellow and received a BSc in nursing from McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario, and a MSc in nursing from the University of Toronto. Karen is a member of the Home and Community Team and plays a role in many of the Team’s projects related to Home and Community Care. Karen’s current research interests include developing and implementing technologies to reduce the burden of care such as technologies for toileting and lifting and knowledge translation activities that promote knowledge to practice.
