Jonathan is an undergraduate student at the University of Toronto, studying Biomedical Engineering (through Engineering Science). Health care has always been an interest for him. The research project that he is a part of looks at the effects that electrical stimulation has on the fluid shift in the body when a person is lying down. The research is being conducted in order to better understand fluid accumulation and fluid shift in the body and to determine if the fluid shift may have a significant impact in the collapse of the upper airway.
