Hammad received his BSc (hons.) in Kinesiology from McMaster University (2015), and will be pursuing his Masters of Science in Physical Therapy (MSc PT) at the University of Toronto (2017). He joined the Home and Community Team as a summer student in 2015 and is working on developing technologies for caregivers in both home-based and clinical settings. At McMaster, Hammad was involved with Candrive: a national multi-disciplinary study aimed at improving the health, safety and quality-of-life of Canada’s older drivers. Overall, Hammad enjoys working in collaborative settings and intends to improve the lives of older Canadians by bridging the gap between clinical research and clinical practice.
