David is a fourth year Kinesiology student at the University of Waterloo with a Psychology Minor and a Neurobehavioral Assessment Option. He joined the Home, Community, and Institutional Environments Team in January 2016 as a co-op student under the supervision of Alison Novak. During his time at Toronto Rehab, David will be working in StairLab on a project involving step geometry and fall risk for younger and older individuals. He will also spend some time in FallsLab collecting data for another study investigating handhold loading profiles of young adults with respect to balance and stability. Following his placement at Toronto Rehab, David will return to school at UW to complete the final year of his undergrad degree. Upon his graduation, David hopes to pursue some form of graduate studies.
