Ben is in his fourth year of Engineering Science (Biomedical option) at the University of Toronto. He joined the Home and Community Team in May 2015 as part of U of T’s Professional Experience Year program. His work primarily focuses on mobility in winter, with current projects including analyzing the gait of older adults and people with mobility impairments on ice, evaluating footwear slip resistance and developing a device to detect slips.
