Angela is a fourth year student currently working towards a Bachelor of Kinesiology at the University of Toronto. She joined the Home & Community Team in September 2016 and is working under the supervision of Dr. Alison Novak. At TRI, Angela has worked on a study involving handrail grasping and presented this project at the 18th Annual Bertha Rosenstadt National Undergraduate Research Conference in Kinesiology and Physical Education. Angela was accepted into the 2017 IBBME Undergraduate Summer Research Program where she is investigating a project in StairLab to design safer environments by reducing the risk of falls, facilitating balance recovery reactions, and preventing musculoskeletal injuries.
